James Corden’s Late Late Show Gets Premiere Date; Guest Hosts Will Bridge Gap

If you’re wondering when Stephen Colbert will be taking over for David Letterman, keep waiting. But CBS did announce today when James Corden will be taking over The Late Late Show from current host Craig Ferguson: March 9th. And Corden will be taping the show in Los Angeles, just as Ferguson is now.

Ferguson announced earlier this year he’d be leaving in December after ten years in the time slot. But since Corden is starting in March, you might be wondering what CBS is going to air in the meantime. Well, according to TheWrap, CBS will be cycling through various guest hosts in the interim.

There’s no indication yet of who any of these guest hosts will be, but it’s possible CBS will use the opportunity to try out some non-white guys after a few complaints that they didn’t settle give the slot to a woman or minority to shake things up.
