Jason Aldean Gives Statement on ‘Beyond Horrific’ Las Vegas Shooting

After surviving the deadliest mass shooting in US history, country music artist Jason Aldean released a statement via Instagram telling fans that he is safe after the tragedy took place during his show.
Aldean called the Las Vegas, Nevada shooting “beyond horrific.” His full statement went as follows:
Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still dont know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe. My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken #stopthehate
The country singer was seen fleeing the stage in a chilling video filmed by a concert-goer. During the initial gunfire, Aldean did not stop performing until the shooting went on for a few seconds — he then presumably heard the shots and exited with his band.
