Jerry Sandusky Sentenced To 30 – 60 Years In Prison

Former Penn State assistant head coach Jerry Sandusky has been sentenced today to no less than 30 years in prison. Sandusky, who is 68, could have faced up to 400 years for his convictions on 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

Sandusky gave a speech before receiving his sentence, once again proclaiming his innocence. His wife, Dottie, was in attendance and he was described as wearing a red jumpsuit and appearing notably thinner.

Earlier, Sandusky had recorded a statement laying blame not only on his accusers, but also on therapists, Penn State, the media, attorneys, and “the system.”
