Jindal Campaign Jokes: Trump’s Tax Plan ‘Really, Really, Really Fantastic’

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has made no secret of his disdain for Donald Trump. Today, the long-shot Republican presidential candidate’s campaign manager jokingly praised Trump for his “really, really, really fantastic” tax plan.

“Can you believe it? Trump has spent all summer raising expectations about his campaign, so we could never have imagined just how really, really, really fantastic his tax plan would be,” Jindal campaign manager Timmy Teepell said in a statement. “Donald Trump’s poker face is so good, it’s blue steel.”

To coincide with the cynical congratulatory message, the campaign also released a video making fun of Trump’s so-called “exaggerations.” Have a look:

In a speech earlier this month at the National Press Club, Jindal railed against Trump, calling him a “narcissist” and an “egomaniac.” To many, the attack on Trump was the first bit of life from the Jindal campaign after otherwise quiet news cycles. Trump responded by tweeting that he doesn’t respond to jabs from candidates who are polling under one percent. “I never thought he had a chance and I’ve been proven right,” he said.
