Kenny G Performed an Impromptu Concert on an Airplane to Raise Money for Cancer
Over the last few weeks, airlines (cough, United) haven’t been the subject of a lot of good news. Over the weekend, however, something good did actually happen on a flight. According to a report from TMZ, Kenny G was on a Delta flight from Tampa to Los Angeles, and one of the flight attendants announced that they were raising money for Relay for Life.
Passenger Chuck Cave told ABC Action News that the singer agreed to perform if passengers donated $1,000. They raised up to $2,000, and Kenny G delivered. Cave said that “everyone was happy the whole flight.”
Delta also tweeted to thank him:
Thanks @kennyg for the impromptu concert to help us raise funds for @RelayForLife! https://t.co/CaUISsjcBZ
