Lady Gaga Will Guest Edit Metro Newspaper

Lady Gaga has already proven that she can create hit albums, work a runway, cultivate a massive social media following, and star in videos that make the concept of vagina dentata seem downright cuddly. But can she write? We’ll soon find out!

The singer is set to become the Metro‘s guest editor, overseeing various columns, writing a feature, and adding her input all across the issue. She’ll work out of the paper’s UK office (followed, naturally, by cameras), but plans to turn to her fans throughout all 18 areas served by the Metro‘s various editions in order to gather their input on how they’ve dealt with inequality.

Furthermore, the outspoken LGBT advocate will be holding an essay contest (the prompt will concern human rights), with the best writer serving as her intern at the paper.

The Gaga-helmed edition of the paper hits newsstands May 17th.
