Layin’ Ted: Woman Who Looks Like Cruz Inks $10,000 Porn Deal

Well, well, well, what do we have here? Last week, when I brought you this story of a Maury guest who looks just like Ted Cruz, there were plenty of cries of, “Slow news day?” to go around, but lo, I am vindicated! It turned into a big story! It turned into a big, sexy story!

The woman at the center of the big, sexy story is Searcy Hayes. She is 21 years old, lives in Natchez, Mississippi, and is about to be $10,000 richer. That’s because XHamster, a popular porn website, has offered to pay her that amount for one six-minute scene. (You may know XHamster as the site that stopped streaming in North Carolina to protest what some saw as an anti-trans law in the state. Or, you may know it for some other reason. I don’t care. I don’t judge.)

Huffington Post caught up with her after she became a big, sexy meme. Here are her thoughts on Cruz:

I don’t know his positions and I’ve never seen him, so I don’t know if he’s done a good enough job to be reelected.

They then told her that he is not currently the president, to which she responded that she didn’t know anything about her doppelgänger. Oh well! She doesn’t need to know about him to star in her own feature flick.

After saying they might pay off their house, buy a truck, or get married, her boyfriend and future co-star Freddie Green said this:

It’s kind of exciting and shocking to know she’s famous — she’s more famous than Madonna! I’m with a star.

We all know how Cruz regards porn stars, so it is unlikely that he will acknowledge this latest development in the sage of his face.
