Limbaugh: Media ‘Bending over Backwards’ to Save Obama on ‘No Strategy’

Rush Limbaugh was astounded today at the press corps’ reaction to President Obama‘s comment about not having a strategy yet to combat ISIS in Syria. He said he’s never seen anyone in the press “bending over backwards” to help a president the way CNN’s Jim Acosta did today.

Acosta pressed Josh Earnest on whether Obama regrets that line and whether the White House scrambling to clarify afterwards meant the media just misunderstood. It seemed fairly challenging, but Limbaugh asked, “When is the last time you can recall outside of this administration a member of the press bending over backwards this way?”

To Limbaugh, Acosta was just making excuses and helping the White House. And the press, he charged, “is totally willing to accept that they are the idiots if it means Obama not looking like an idiot.”
