Marilyn Mosby Avoids Media Circus to Appear at an Actual Circus

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, currently in the national spotlight for her prosecution of six cops in the death of Freddie Gray, appeared as a guest ringmaster at the UniverSoul Circus on Friday.

Mosby was scrutinized for appearing at Prince‘s Baltimore concert and doing an interview with Vogue, and of course this appearance has raised some eyebrows.

UniverSoul Circus gave Mosby and her husband, Baltimore city councilman Nick Mosby, the community service honor because of their commitment to the Baltimore community. And they also pointed out that they made the decision long before Mosby was thrust into the national spotlight.
