Mark Zuckerberg Marries Girlfriend Priscilla Chan In ‘Surprise Wedding’

In what seemed to have been a surprise to many in attendance, Mark Zuckerberg married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan at a small wedding in their backyard today. According to People, “Guests thought they were coming over for a surprise party to celebrate Chan’s graduation from UCSF medical school” but apparently Zuckerberg and Chan had been planning the wedding for more than four months.

This comes a day after Facebook went public so you have got to believe that there was some serious pre-nup work involved for both sides before the ceremony. The couple have been dating for almost a decade, so the challenges associated with marrying one of the richest men in the world was probably something both had long considered. Insert jokes here about his new Facebook status.
