Megyn Kelly Reveals Her Friendship With Don Lemon Was Destiny

Here are a few fun facts: CNN’s Don Lemon made Variety‘s “New Power of New York” list. Fox News’ Megyn Kelly was asked to write a column about him for the latest issue of the magazine. She really showered him with praise.

In fact, she started the entire thing with an anecdote about the beginning of their “beautiful friendship.” Sure, the friendship isn’t breaking news since we’ve seen it in action before, but it’s still interesting to read what the blonde FNC superstar has to say about the controversial CNN panel ringleader.

Here’s a particularly glowing part of her write-up:

We have a lot in common: I’m an anchor at the Fox News Channel who’s come out as an Independent. He’s an anchor at CNN who’s come out as a gay former Republican. We were destined to like each other. I have seen him take risks on the air, and then get pilloried for it — which I respect. At least he’s bold, mixing it up a bit. It’s tough to irritate Don — he’s easy going, and quick to smile, always in on the joke. He’s also introspective.

Isn’t it nice to know everyone can get along?
