Mom Posts Ultrasound Photo on Facebook, Comments Section Gets Real Weird

Ultrasound technology has gotten pretty amazing. You can actually get a 3D photo of your baby while he or she is in utero, and get a pretty good idea of what the baby looks like. Except when it doesn’t look like a baby at all, and to some people, it actually looks more like…a delicious pasta dish.

One mom to be recently made her profile picture an ultrasound photo. Beneath it, one of her friends commented, “That lasagna looks crisp.”

The mom wrote back, “That’s my daughter.”

Thankfully, one Twitter user screen grabbed the exchange and posted it, saying “FACEBOOK IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE.”

The Tweet has been retweeted over 56,000 times, and liked more than 100,000 times. It’s awkward, and amazing, and maybe don’t comment on your friend’s profile picture if you think it’s lasagne unless you’re absolutely sure- most Facebook profile pictures aren’t lasagne.
