Mr. Met Fired After Flipping The Bird At Fan
He’s outta there!!
Mr. Met made a grave mistake when he flipped off a fan during Wednesday night’s game.
The Mets organization responded quickly:

The Associated Press reported that a Mets official said that multiple people don the Mr. Met suit throughout the season, but that this Mr. Met is out of a job.
It might be important to note that Mr. Met actually only has four digits: three fingers and a thumb. But he still managed to get that middle one up there. Mrs. Met will not be pleased.
This is not the first time The Mets stepped in it. In early May, The Mets tweeted a photo of shortstop T.J. Rivera donning a crown after he played a big role in the Mets’ come-from-behind victory over the Marlins. That photo also depicted backup catcher Kevin Plawecki’s locker, in which a huge– and I mean HUGE– dildo was sitting.
Can we just talk about the black dildo in plawecki’s locker? ??? #mets pic.twitter.com/CmbebDFEWI

It is unclear how the fan who the finger was directed at had said to inspire such rage in Mr. Met. But the smiling face on that giant baseball head might never bring joy to fans again after this incident.
Tsk, tsk.
