New Woman Accuses Steven Seagal of Sexual Assaulting Her During Audition: ‘Totally Violated’

A new woman is accusing actor Steven Seagal of sexual misconduct for his actions towards her during a supposed audition at a Beverly Hills hotel room.

Over the last few months, Seagal has been one of many figures in the entertainment business who have been targeted by the #MeToo movement due to his alleged inappropriate behavior towards women. The Associated Press reported today from a Los Angeles press conference where Faviola Dadis, a former teen model and aspiring actress, described her interactions with Seagal during a casting session for a movie he was making in 2002.

From the report:

Seagal had told her to wear a bikini or bra and panties under her clothes, and had her walk around the room in the bikini before saying he wanted to test their chemistry together and started touching her, Dadis said.

“Steven sat there calmly as if nothing had happened while I was noticeably upset and terrified by the experience,” she said. “I left feeling horrified and totally violated.”

Dadis claimed that Seagal reached under her bikini to touch her nipples and other private parts during the audition. She walked out shortly afterward, and while she didn’t tell authorities about the incident for fear of getting blacklisted, she said that the experience mentally scarred her for years.

“I have suffered from depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress, have found it difficult to form trusting relationships with men,” Dadis said.

Anthony Falangetti, Seagal’s attorney, denied the allegations against the actor:

“These claims by the two women who spoke today are completely fictitious and totally made up…Neither one of their accounts is at all believable.”
