Newsweek Writer Calls Ted Cruz And His Supporters Nazis on Twitter
Newsweek writer Alexander Nazaryan caused a bit of an Internet kerfuffle Wednesday morning, after he tweeted an image calling GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz and his supporters Nazis.
The senior writer for the magazine, who previously served on the editorial board of New York Daily News, quickly deleted the tweet after criticism. But the Internet, as they say, is forever.

Nazaryan later tweeted a sorta-not-really apology for the joke, saying it was unfair to Ted Cruz supporters (but not the candidate himself).
I deleted my tweet calling Ted Cruz a Nazi. Not fair to his totally decent supporters, as much as I dislike the man himself.
