Not Even Sharknado 3 Wants Anything to Do with Jared Fogle

jared fogle out of sharknado 3Okay, former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle hasn’t actually been charged with anything following the FBI’s raid of his Indiana home on Tuesday. The search was in conjunction with the previous investigation and conviction of Fogle’s former colleague Russell Taylor.

Yet any kind of connection, no matter how indirect (or not), to child pornography is just bad. It’s bad, bad, baddie bad-bad. That’s why Subway subsequently suspended its ties with Fogle later on Tuesday.

It’s also why his cameo in SyFy’s upcoming Sharknado 3 was cut from the film:

A spokesman for Syfy, which is broadcasting the horror threequel on July 22, has confirmed to EW that a cameo appearance Fogle had shot for the film would not be seen in the finished cut.

That’s right, folks. Fogle was one of many “celebrities” who had a cameo in the second sequel to the god-awfully-wonderful Sharknado, the 2013 TV movie that took the nation by storm. (I am so not sorry for that.) He also appeared in the Sharknado 2, the 2014 sequel.

Just in case you need a refresher, here’s the first teaser from SyFy:
