Some in the conservative media have tried turning President Obama‘s choice to succeed outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder into a point of controversy. Embarrassingly so, in the case of Breitbart News.
But News Corp Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch, owner of such news outlets like Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, doesn’t see anything wrong with Loretta Lynch.
“Seems Obama made good choice for new [attorney general,” Murdoch tweeted Sunday. “Reputation for fairness and strict legality.”
Murdoch’s thinking is reflected in the Journal, which said in an editorial Monday that Lynch ” isn’t likely to stir a partisan brawl with the new Republican Senate.”
Seems Obama made good choice for new AG. Reputation for fairness and strict legality.
