Obama Meets Verizon: ‘Can You Hear Me Now? Yes We Can.’

There have been plenty of “Can you hear me now?” jokes flying around Twitter today, following revelations that National Security Agency has been collecting phone records from Verizon customers. But Slate.com appears to be the first to connect the dots this elegantly with a video parody of the classic ads.

At least we finally know who the Verizon guy was talking to that whole time…
