If you have a daughter under the age of 16, you likely witnessed her crying buckets worth of tears over Zayn Malik‘s seemingly amicable departure from One Direction in late March. And now you can expect swimming pools worth of tears because — gulp — Malik and one of his ex-bandmates are squabbling in a not-so-subtle way.
It all started Wednesday afternoon when British DJ and producer Naughty Boy tweeted a grainily-filtered picture of himself with Malik, captioning it “Replace this”:

For those not in the know, 1D have reportedly found a replacement for the dude who quit because he wanted to be a “normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.”
In response, remaining 1D member (and not-normal 23-year-old) Louis Tomlinson took what could only be interpreted as a passive-aggressive stab at his former roadmate and Mr. Boy:
