Overnight ‘Bale Out Aurora’ Movement Wants Christian Bale To Visit Injured Kids In Batman Costume

'Bale Out Aurora' Movement Wants Bale To Visit Injured Kids As Batman

Since last night, Twitter users have been using the #BaleOutAurora hashtag to call for Dark Knight Rises lead actor Christian Bale to come to Aurora and visit the injured children in the hospital in his Batman costume. The movement was likely set off by a Facebook post that was screencapped and spread as widely as the trend, saying that Bale can help to let kids know “Heroes can be real too, not just the bad guys.”

The Twitter campaign got a push last night by KDVR, a local Fox affiliate in Denver, encouraging users to “Tweet #BaleOutAurora” to join in. The Facebook post being distributed asks Bale to visit the injured children in costume and “be a Hero right now, not a movie Hero, a real life flesh and blood one.”

What do you think? Should Christian Bale go to Aurora to visit the kids in costume?
