Patriots Wideout Julian Edelman Acknowledges He’s a Father After Initially Contesting Baby’s Paternity

For several months, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman contested that he was the father of a child with Swedish model Ella Rose. But now, for the first time, Edelman has publicly acknowledged that he is indeed the father of the newborn.

Edelman posted a photo of himself to Instagram holding his baby daughter, Lily, in his arms.

Lily was born on Nov. 30. According to the Boston Globe, she weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces at birth.

Edelman and Rose, per TMZ, are on friendly terms, but are not romantically involved. Edelman, per previous TMZ reporting, has been romantically linked to Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima.
