Paul Ryan Is Sick of Being Confused for Anthony Weiner

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) was the 2012 Republican vice presidential nominee, and while that means he gets recognized a lot when he’s out in the world, it doesn’t mean people always know who it is they’re recognizing. During a Republican forum event in Michigan Wednesday, Ryan lamented the fact that he’s now been confused for former Congressman Anthony Weiner — twice.

“I’ve been confused for Anthony Weiner twice now,” Ryan told the crowd, to horrified laughter. “I have no idea how that happens.”
