Poll: Donald Trump Has Only 1% Chance of Getting GOP Nomination
After repeatedly bragging about how rich he is, people might say that headline generator Donald Trump falls into the category of the supposed %1 of the country’s population that controls the great majority of the national wealth.
According to a new poll from CNN that was gathered by Pivit, Trump might also be amongst a much-less-desired one-percent: those who have a chance of getting the Republican presidential nomination.
The last poll that was taken on Trump was released on June 28, which showed him polling with 12%, only seven points behind Jeb Bush for the nomination. Pivit’s new poll says that the real estate mogul turned candidate now has only a 1% chance to win the GOP nomination.
Pivit is described as a program that combines polls with predictive analysis, wagering markets and social sentiment in order to roughly calculate the percentage chance possibilities for certain world events. The latest data concludes that even though Trump’s numbers are in the middle of a continued decline, he is likely to be amongst the candidates who will appear at the debates hosted by Fox and CNN.
Pivit has also predicted that Trump will continue to ignore the losses observed by his business empire after repeatedly defending his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants. Such estimates don’t need to be calculated with raw data however, for Trump has brushed off the businesses fleeing from him on multiple occasions.
