REPORT: Megyn Kelly ‘Lashed Out’ at Brit Hume Amid Rumors of an Affair

In 2007, before Megyn Kelly had assumed her position at the tippy-top of the Fox News game, there were rumors that she was involved in an affair with her mentor, Brit Hume. She contributed legal segments to his show at the time.

The Daily Mail reports that in her upcoming book, Settle for More, she addresses the rumors and how she reacted to them almost a decade ago. She was reportedly furious that anyone would write or believe that she was sleeping her way to the top and she was equally angry about how unfazed Hume seemed.

Allegedly, he walked into her office to joke about the tabloid report and this is what she said:

You’re Brit fucking Hume. Nobody knows me, They’ll see that I’m thirty years younger and blond and they’ll just assume that’s the whole story.

What else will we learn in the book? By now, we’ve heard reports about the Hume affair rumors and an entire chapter dedicated to Roger Ailes and his harassment of the star anchor.
