Report: White House Had No Idea Gov. Nixon Deployed National Guard

Hoo boy, if this is true, this is not good: yesterday, Missouri governor Jay Nixon deployed the National Guard to take control of the situation in Ferguson. But “the White House did not know they were sending it in,” a source told BuzzFeed, adding that Nixon gave “no heads up.”

Barack Obama took an unprecedented break from his Martha’s Vineyard vacation and is back in DC this week for unspecified meetings with high level advisers.
