RNC Co-Chair: Some Wisconsin Voters Not Very ‘Sharp’
RNC co-chair Sharon Day spoke yesterday at a Republican field office in Wisconsin, and had some not-so-kind words for some of the state’s voters. Governor Scott Walker is up for reelection and Day was talking about mobilizing voters to get out and support him.
She said, “It’s not going to be an easy election, it’s a close election. Like I said, much closer than I can even understand why.” And Day even suggested the following for why Walker has a tough battle ahead, reportedly saying: “I don’t want to say anything about your Wisconsin voters but, some of them might not be as sharp as a knife.”
It’s worth noting here that current RNC Chairman Reince Priebus lived in Wisconsin for a long time until he won that position. So he might know firsthand if all those state Democrats aren’t so sharp…
