Rosie O’Donnell: We Need to Impose Martial Law to Stop Donald Trump

In a Wednesday tweet, comedienne Rosie O’Donnell called for the imposition of martial law in order to prevent Republican president-elect Donald Trump from taking office.

O’Donnell pinned that tweet, ensuring it would be the first one that anyone visiting her profile would see. She continued:

HEY EVERYBODY – DONALD TRUMP LIES CONSTANTLY – @washingtonpost @PrincessBravato DO NOT SWEAR HIM IN – STOP THE INAUGURATION #reallypeople

The two entertainers have a longstanding feud dating back to 2006. Some of Trump’s insults of O’Donnell (including calling her fat and a “pig”) later became avenues of attack for his opponents during the 2016 presidential election. More recently, it was O’Donnell who courted controversy by accusing Trump’s son of being autistic.
