Sarah Palin Celebrates Donald Trump Win By Inviting ‘Smart Democrats’ to Join Him
The last time we saw former future Vice President and future former Governor Sarah Palin, she was telling the world to “condone racism,” but following Donald Trump’s victory in Indiana Tuesday night and Ted Cruz’s exit from the race, Palin was… well, basically doing the same thing. In a message to her Facebook fans, Palin thanked the state of Indiana for lifting Trump to victory, then did a little of that redneck slam poetry we’ve all come to know and love, and which included an invitation for “smart Democrats” to join the Trump Revolution:
We do have to unite first, so GOP and independents and smart Democrats, truly it is time to come together, pull together — remember that united we will stand, our country will stand united. Divided, we’re going to fall. So now, after participating in some really healthy, kind of arduous competition, and now, more than ever, it’s time to come together and put some differences aside. Stand on principle, that principle that, yeah, we have opportunity to make America great again. We’ve needed a revolution, and we’ve found our revolution-ary!
Speaking for other smart Democrats, let me be the first to say that it is time to come together, pull together, to get her in-to the White House, because to make America great again, Donald Trump will lose in November, and in November, Donald Trump will lose, also, too.
In all seriousness, though, we really are all glad to see that Tuesday night’s concession speech by Ted Cruz did not mark the last time we’d get to see a vice-presidential loser on the stump. Welcome back, Grizzly Mama!
