Scarborough Calls Out Trump for Saying Muslims Worldwide Were ‘Going Wild’ After 9/11
As Donald Trump ranted today about his mockery of a New York Times reporter, he said, “Everybody admits worldwide the Muslims were absolutely going wild [after 9/11].”
Trump continued to stand by his claim that “thousands” of Muslims cheered in New Jersey on 9/11, and the only piece of evidence Trump has invoked to support his assertion is a report that says it was only a few allegedly brought in for questioning.
But his claim about how Muslims all over the world were “going wild” earned him a fierce rebuke from MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, who tweeted out a bunch of examples to the contrary:
