Sean Spicer Responds to Jon Karl’s Scathing Review of His Book: ‘He’s Elite Media’
The Daily Caller‘s Derek Hunter seemed very interested in whether there was beef between The Wall Street Journal‘s Jonathan Karl and former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on the website’s podcast Wednesday.
Speaking about Spicer’s new book, Hunter read out a quote from a review Karl wrote in WSJ, calling it “unnecessary.”
“Mr. Spicer’s book is much like his tenure as press secretary: short, littered with inaccuracies, and offering up one consistent theme – Mr. Trump can do no wrong,” Hunter read out from the review.
“It makes me wonder whether he read the book,” Spicer said of the quote.
“Is there something personal between you?” Hunter asked, intrigued.
“I think obviously the media doesn’t like it when anyone pushes back, and I would include him in the group of elite media that wants to make decisions about what Americans see and don’t see,” Spicer replied.
You know, Spicey, not everyone who doesn’t like your trash memoir is a member of the “elite” trying to manipulate the American public with their “media” wiles. Hate to break it.
