Sen. Lindsey Graham: ‘Obama Is Just As Much An American As Anybody Else’

So there can be healthy debate between the two parties without devolving into slurs and name-calling. Who knew? Today on NBC’s Meet The Press, David Gregory sat down with Republican Senator Lindsey Graham to talk about the recent health care battle and the nasty attitude that people on both sides of the political spectrum have adopted in this fight.




Says Graham, “Lets focus civilly on the major differences, the role of government in our lives, and what’s honest and what’s not, and part the rhetoric in a personal way.” Good advice, and hopefully a light at the end of the tunnel for a more bipartisan Congress during Obama’s administration.
