South Park to Open New Season with Take on Caitlyn Jenner
With everything that’s happened since the last season, fans have been wondering what Trey Parker and Matt Stone will tackle first when they take us back to South Park to have ourselves a time. From a statement on Comedy Central’s website, it looks like Wednesday’s kickoff episode will take a look at Caitlyn Jenner‘s transition to womanhood, and how the boys feel about it.
“There is a new principal at the helm of South Park Elementary,” the blog states. “He forces the boys to confront the damage they’ve done through their history of racism and unconscious bias.”
From that, it seems that “Stunning and Brave” will focus on the boys’ reaction to the former athlete’s changes, as well as some aspects of the raunchy humor typically seen on the show. A recent clip shows that Eric Cartman will be taking a stand however, saying that just as Tom Brady managed to overturn Deflategate, he will not take detention lying down.
