Spike Released Emotional Trailer for ‘I Am Heath Ledger’
We’re not crying, you’re crying. Today, on what would have been Heath Ledger‘s 38th birthday, Spike released the trailer for its upcoming documentary, “I Am Heath Ledger.” It chronicles the life and career of the legendary actor who died of a drug overdose nearly ten years ago. The documentary features footage taken by his own camera as well as clips from his movies and interviews with his friends, family including his sister, and other celebrities and artists including Ben Harper, Ben Mendelsohn, and Ang Lee.
“Heath was the most alive human. And if it wasn’t on the edge, it didn’t interest him,” says Harper in the first moment of the video.
Others recount his roles in Brokeback Mountain, his love of directing, and struggle with fame.
