Spox for Mexican President Now Claims He and Trump Actually Did Talk About Wall Payment

Donald Trump claimed in Mexico today that he and the President of Mexico did not discuss payment of the border wall.

However:

Now, if this is true and they did talk about payment, Peña Nieto then had no interest in publicly correcting him. So this could very well be him saving face.

UPDATE –– 7:01 pm ET: Nieto himself tweeted that he made it clear to Trump they’re not paying for the wall:

So yes, someone’s lying here.
