Stephen Colbert Simplifies Pres. Obama Oval Office Speech: “See Spot Spread”

Rachel Maddow gave her version of the speech Pres. Barack Obama should have given Tuesday night.

Now Stephen Colbert is offering his take – in the context of the report the speech may have gone over the heads of the average viewer.

“Mr. President, your flowery verbiage is opaque and perplexing,” said Colbert. “I’m sorry, I meant to say your talky words make ears mad.”

His speech paraphrased Fun With Dick And Jane and Goodnight, Moon to lower the level of comprehension a bit.
