Street Prankster Jesse Watters Dishes Advice For a Former Secretary of State: ‘Zip It Up, Stay Focused’
Fox News producer and host Jesse Watters has made his name by ambushing people like young college liberals and UFO enthusiasts with confounding questions that get edited with 1980’s movie clips and cricket sound effects. The wildly popular and oftentimes super funny Watters World segments that debuted on The O’Reilly Factor have landed Watters his own show on the network, but if that gig doesn’t quite pan out, he might have a solid future in political advising.
His chops were on full display Wednesday morning during a radio hit with Joe Piscopo on AM 970 THE ANSWER when the street jester of journalism gave some solid debate advice to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate for President who served as a First Lady, state Senator, and Secretary of State.
Piscopo asked Watters to respond to Clinton’s prompt to a Raleigh, NC crowd yesterday when she asked, “Did anyone see that debate last night?” Watters was less than enthused.
“I don’t think she’s gonna be too cocky with these polls showing a dead heat in battleground states, so she needs to zip it up and stay focused,” he said. We’ll make sure Robby Mook passes along the message.
“I don’t think people like her very much, especially the cocky Hillary,” Watters continued.
Watters has seemingly undergone a political 180 ever since he donated $500 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2012 to help support President Barack Obama‘s reelection bid. Today, he claimed that Trump “totally annihilated” Clinton in the first forty-five minutes of the debate Monday night.
