‘The American People Should Be Deeply Troubled’: The CIA Puts Out Statement on WikiLeaks Release
The CIA released a statement on the newest WikiLeaks dump of documents allegedly showing CIA hacking and spying programs.
The statement says they have “no comment on the authenticity” of those documents, but does go on to defend surveillance methods and say that “the American people should be deeply troubled by any WikiLeaks disclosure designed to damage the Intelligence Community’s ability to protect America.”
