‘The People Who Committed Violence Got to Speak’: Tucker Carlson Comments on Milo Protest
Tonight on Fox News, Tucker Carlson had to break away from his normal programming to provide live coverage of the large protest that had broken out at UC Berkeley in response to a scheduled speech by Breitbart editor and conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.
After Trace Gallagher explained that Milo had left the campus but the protest continued with a fires being set and damage done to property, Carlson weighed in with a bit of commentary about free speech.
“So the people who committed violence got to speak,” he said. “But the person who didn’t had to leave.”
Tucker would further note that while they’ve seen a number of protests break out at Milo speeches, he didn’t think they’d ever seen them break out into violence.
