‘This Is Vile and Wrong’: Chelsea Clinton Tears Into Kathy Griffin Over Beheaded Trump Photo

In a photo shoot with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, occasional CNN host Kathy Griffin posed with a model of a President Donald Trump’s severed head. Once the photo was published today, the internet went predictably wild, with Griffin facing quite a bit of criticism over the controversial pic.

This afternoon, former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton joined in the condemnation of Griffin, taking to Twitter to express her outrage over the photo.

When one Twitter user said that Griffin needed a better PR team, Clinton responded by stating that it is never funny to joke about killing a president.

When the daughter of the candidate who was not only defeated by Trump but has also been the target of a number of “Lock her up!” chants calls you out for going too far with your anti-Trump imagery, then yeah, you’re likely doing it wrong.
