Three Children, Two Adults Dead In Albuquerque Shooting
A teenage boy was arrested Sunday for fatally shooting two adults and three children inside an Albuquerque home, the Associated Press reports.
The perpetrator was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of child abuse resulting in death, pollice told ABC affiliate KOAT. Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies said they were called to the 2800 block of Long Lane Southwest at 9:15 PM Saturday. The call was about a possible homicide.
A man, a woman and three children were found dead at the scene. Each had suffered several gunshot wounds, according to deputies. Investigators believe several weapons were used, including a semi-automatic military-style assault rifle. They are currently seeking to determine who owned each of the guns.
The motive hasn’t been determined and the identities of the shooter or victims have not yet been released.
