Tony Stewart Not Indicted for Deadly Crash
A grand jury has decided that NASCAR driver Tony Stewart will not face any charges in the killing of fellow driver Kevin Ward, Jr., according to EPSN.
Michael Tantillo, the Ontario County District Attorney, also indicated Ward had marijuana in his system when he was fatally hit by Stewart’s car. Stewart could have been charged with second-degree murder or negligent homicide, but the grand jury did not indict him on either.
Stewart withdrew from three races following the incident, but has since returned to the racetrack.
