Trump Advisor AJ Delgado: ‘Any Reasonable Woman’ Would Already Have Come Forward With Harassment Accusations

cqy8v-4umaa63vo-e1472229229493Senior advisor to the Trump campaign A.J. Delgado assailed the women who came forward to accuse Donald Trump of sexual harassment.

Because the alleged misconduct took place years, and even decades ago, and because the accusers were Clinton supporters, Delgado said she did not believe them. “Any reasonable woman” would have come forward with the accusations sooner, she said.

Speaking to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes via phone Wednesday night, Delgado said, “As a woman, I’m livid having read this. Not only are these accusations simply not credible but it’s disgusting that the New York Times is trivializing sexual assault this way. I take great offense at that, as a woman.”

Delgado was responding to an article in the New York Timesprofiling two women who claim Trump touched them inappropriately, and another in the Palm Beach Postdocumenting a third accuser. Both articles were published Wednesday night.

“These allegations are decades old. If somebody actually did that, Chris, any reasonable woman would have come forward and said something,” Delgado said.
