Trump Ravaged by Critics Over Conspiratorial ‘Bomb Stuff’ Tweet: ‘He is a Psychopath’

The Twitterverse was thrown into overdrive on Friday after President Trump made a very…odious complaint about the political impact of the recent bomb scares across America.
As Trump’s critics continue to receive suspicious packages in the mail, the president released an early morning statement on Twitter where he attacked the media for noting how he has contributed to the current toxicity of political discourse around the country.
Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of Bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, “it’s just not Presidential!”

In his most recent tweet, Trump took things up a notch by complaining that the “‘bomb’ stuff” threatens to disrupt Republican early midterm voting momentum:
Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!

As usual, political observers are taking notice of this, and they are far from impressed.
Some are slamming Trump for not calling the bomb campaign an attempted act of domestic terrorism. Others are remarking on how Trump seems concerned more than anything about how politically inconvenient this is for himself. And then, there are those who looked at the words Trump used and the way he phrased his tweet, which seems to suggest he’s on the verge of embracing the conspiracy theories that the bomb campaign is a false flag operation.
Now the president of the United States is casting doubt that real bombs have been sent to other presidents, sitting Congressman/women, @CNN. He is a psychopath https://t.co/nLHmC88YPf

For instance, @LouDobbs, who is known to speak with Trump, called them “fake bombs” yesterday while peddling a conspiracy theory about the mail bombs on his Twitter account https://t.co/KIbs8PHXiI pic.twitter.com/mQUoW02mav

Nation’s commander-in-chief responds to terrorism by putting air quotes around “bomb.”
Really, Republicans? Really? https://t.co/N0PSIph79S

In Trump’s third tweet since the announcement of an 11th and a 12th bomb, he finally mentions the bombs. But he only mentions them to complain that they have slowed his “momentum.” Not to express concern. Not to even say that he is being briefed.

President of United States engaging in a conspiracy theory over bombing attempts, suggesting it’s designed to hurt Republicans in the midterms. A couple days ago when this first surfaced, he read from a prompter and said this was a serious matter, saying it’s time to unify https://t.co/nljZ4hg9JQ

This “bomb stuff” is an act of domestic terrorism. https://t.co/R0JqSK4QKJ

It’s a high bar, but this may be the lowest of the low we’ve seen from Trump on Twitter. Conspiratorial. Hyper-partisan. Ignorant. Devoid of empathy and even humanity. Unbecoming of the Office–or any public office. https://t.co/eyvncksN1O

Wow. The president of the United States clearly thinks the largest coordinated assassination attempt in American history is a hoax. https://t.co/3QsqYMkb9c

Took about a day for the president to sign on to the right wing “fake bombs” conspiracy theory. https://t.co/g506CyWV3C

Holy shit. The president is suggesting a string of bombs mailed to his critics is a false flag. This is Alex Jones-level stuff. https://t.co/fQgrBfdbiR

There is no subtext anymore. Only text. https://t.co/8QtbWv5Pnl

An act of nationwide terrorism is ongoing and dammit, the President of the United States needs to address the nation as to……how it might affect his political party’s chances in an upcoming vote. The moral vacuity of this soulless squib is as profound as it is relentless. https://t.co/hZMr4wY6Zx
