Trump Tweets on Covington Catholic Students: ‘Treated Unfairly’ and ‘Smeared by Media’

President Donald Trump tweeted in defense tonight of the Covington Catholic students in that viral encounter with Native American elder Nathan Phillips.
The President tweeted after watching Tucker Carlson‘s opening segment tonight blasting the media coverage for smearing the students:
“Looking like Nick Sandman & Covington Catholic students were treated unfairly with early judgements,’ the President tweeted, “proving out to be false – smeared by media. Not good, but making big comeback! ‘New footage shows that media was wrong about teen’s encounter with Native American’ @TuckerCarlson”
