U.S. Air Force Reportedly Looking Into Elon Musk Ripping a Blunt on Podcast

The U.S. Air Force is looking into Elon Musk smoking a blunt in an interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, per reports.
Fox Business Network’s Charles Gasparino first reported that the military branch “has begun to look into” Musk’s dabbling in the dank arts while on air Thursday night.
Per Gasparino, Musk’s rocket company SpaceX is a government contractor providing services for the Air Force, and ripping doobies is prohibited for people with government security clearance.
SCOOP: After inquiries by @FoxBusiness i am told that the @usairforce has begun to look into @elonmusk‘s pot-smoking during @joerogan interview. at issue: @SpaceX is a government contractor and marijuana use is prohibited for people w govt security clearance — stay tuned

CNBC confirmed Gasparino’s reporting, and explained how the display could prove problematic for the embattled billionaire:
The weed could be the smoking gun showing Musk violated his company’s policy. One could argue Musk was representing Tesla as its CEO during the interview. By imbibing alcohol and marijuana, he was “under the influence” while at work.
And while marijuana use is legal in California, where Rogan’s podcast is filmed, CNBC notes U.S. federal law deems the drug illegal.
In Musk’s wild appearance on Rogan’s podcast, he drank whiskey, brandished a samurai sword and deployed one of his Boring Co. flamethrowers.
