Utah Nurse Arrested in Disturbing Video Speaks Out: ‘I Was Scared to Death’

Alex Wubbels, the Utah nurse who was roughed up and arrested in a video that went massively viral last week, spoke out on CNN this morning about that disturbing moment.

Salt Lake City police apologized on Friday and two officers have been placed on administrative leave.

Wubbels told Alisyn Camerota she had “no idea” how it got to that point, explaining, “I stood my ground. I stood for what was right, which was to protect the patient.”

She was just following policy when she refused to draw the blood sample the officers wanted.

“I was scared to death,” Wubbels said. “I really feel betrayed.”

She was on with her attorney Karra Porter, who said they may file a lawsuit.
