Van Jones Shares ‘Three Dumb Ideas Progressives Have About Donald Trump’
So, here’s the deal: Van Jones really is not a fan of Donald Trump. Most progressive pundits aren’t. There is no real surprise there. What is surprising is how some progressives are still laughing Trump’s campaign for the presidency off even though he defeated 16 other high-ranking conservatives to become the presumptive nominee.
Jones wants to explain how progressives are inadvertently pushing Trump toward the presidency by not taking him seriously enough, so he released this video in partnership with MoveOn:
He shared “Three Dumb Ideas Progressives Have About Donald Trump (That Could Make Him President).” Here they are:
- Trump will self-destruct
- He’s bad on policy, so he will lose
- Demographics will save us
He used the video to break down each misconception and explain that progressives have no chance of defeating Trump in a general election if they keep laughing and don’t stand up to fight against him.
