WATCH: Chinese TV Sets Up 24-Hour Live Giant Panda Cam

 

If you’ve ever bemoaned just how few panda videos there are on YouTube, China Network Television has now made sure you’ll be set for life. There is now a new 24/7 panda cam set up at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding so anyone anywhere in the world can observe how pandas interact in their habit… aw, look at the cute pandas!

According to the International Business Times, there are over 30 cameras set up at the base, ten of which are live, with one of them broadcasting in high definition. The head of China Central Television hopes the project will draw public attention to “environmental protection” and “exploring the survival status of pandas and reasons why they are endangered.”

Or, you know, just watching the cute pandas. Finally, a form of Big Brother the world can really get behind.
