Emirates Plane Explodes After Crash-Landing in Dubai: VIDEO
An Emirates airline plane experienced a crash-landing in Dubai on Wednesday morning that resulted in an explosion on the runway.
The Boeing 777 departed from India, at at around 10 A.M. local time, and the plane was scheduled to land in the United Arab Emirates at 12:50 P.M. local time. The airline said that the plane had an “operational incident” after touchdown, and multiple videos have surfaced online of the plane bursting into flames.

ABC reports that the airline said that 282 passengers were on board. Most of them were Indian, but there were also 6 Americans, 24 British citizens, and 11 from the UAE.
Emirates airlines also said in a statement that everyone on board was safe and accounted for after evacuation, though they did not elaborate on how the explosion happened.
Dubai Airports announced flights will be delayed as Dubai International continues to investigate the incident.
