WATCH LIVE: ‘Affluenza’ Teen’s Mom Appears in Court for Bond Hearing
Tonya Couch, the mother of “affluenza” teen Ethan Couch, is set to appear in court this afternoon for a bond reduction hearing.
Couch’s son had been placed on probation over the now-infamous case where his attorney’s “affluenza” defense worked and got him to avoid a prison sentence for killing four people while drinking and driving.
Both Couches had gone missing but were captured in Mexico after a days-long manhunt. Ethan Couch remains in Mexico, but his mother is back in the United States.
